Xilo Mota made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Machado Vado sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th minute, C.D. EL NACIONAL's Mora Chavarria ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Xilo Mota. Xilo Mota yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Xilo Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Machado Vado in the 13th minute of play. Machado Vado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xilo Mota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Machado Vado in the 19th minute. Ubaldo Guinea kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Mora Chavarria received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xilo Mota came out and tried to block the shot, but Mora Chavarria slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 21st minute. Ibarra Nuncibay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of C.D. EL NACIONAL booed when Revolcadero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Llave didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Machado Vado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Revolcadero FC's Xilo Mota got control of the ball when Machado Vado tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40thth minute of the game Intriago Mutiloa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.D. EL NACIONAL's Navarro Corias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 41st minute, Intriago Mutiloa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Mora Chavarria managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.D. EL NACIONAL's supporters rose to their feet, but Mora Chavarria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xilo Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Intriago Mutiloa made a kick off. In the 51st minute Mora Chavarria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xilo Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Intriago Mutiloa struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Navarro Corias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Revolcadero FC. Xilo Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Machado Vado in the 57th minute of play. After 67th play minutes Machado Vado shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Xilo Mota and just under the crossbar into goal. After 73 played minutes C.D. EL NACIONAL got a freekick which was hit by Camacho Erus. Intriago Mutiloa didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 4-1 via right post in the game's 75th minute. Revolcadero FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! When Mora Chavarria came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the C.D. EL NACIONAL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mora Chavarria couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Ibarra Nuncibay got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Xilo Mota didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mora Chavarria went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 89th minute, Machado Vado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute Intriago Mutiloa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Navarro Corias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
