After 18 minutes of play, Norton's Nicolas Arrieta made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ordonez Natal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zenaido Inarraza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ordonez Natal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Arrieta took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ordonez Natal. Ordonez Natal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ordonez Natal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Arrieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Zenaido Inarraza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ordonez Natal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Constantine FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Norton were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Arrieta to make the kick off. The audience held their breath when Unax Losa in the 53rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Méndez Baezabal's left hand side. In the 55th match minute, Constantine FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bolívar Codina to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Arrieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ordonez Natal having to interfere. Zenaido Inarraza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Ordonez Natal made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Nicolas Arrieta took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Ordonez Natal to make any attempt to save it. Constantine FC's Ordonez Natal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zenaido Inarraza in the 68th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, Constantine FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Centeno to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Arrieta in the 78th minute of play forced Constantine FC's goalkeeper Ordonez Natal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norton's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
