With a little luck, Jaramijo SC's Jose Arbe got control of the ball when Cumbicus Pelaez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cumbicus Pelaez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Jose Arbe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Jaramijo SC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Vela Farras hit a great ball. If Cumbicus Pelaez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 minutes, Vilson Riaza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jaramijo SC and the CD Derna players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jaramijo SC's Vilson Riaza got a free kick in the 23rd minute. CD Derna's Salvador Romuroso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jose Arbe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Yago Castañiza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Arbe was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. CD Derna's Costante Miquelarena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paco Barreiros in the 31st minute of play. When Yago Castañiza came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the CD Derna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yago Castañiza couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes in the game, Yago Castañiza fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jose Arbe having to interfere. When Yago Castañiza came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the CD Derna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yago Castañiza couldn't finish the play.

Jose Arbe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yago Castañiza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cumbicus Pelaez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Jaramijo SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Arbe should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cumbicus Pelaez in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Arbe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paco Barreiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Costante Miquelarena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Kaviedes Jayaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaramijo SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaviedes Jayaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costante Miquelarena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CD Derna's Costante Miquelarena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save CD Derna from getting a goal against them. Cumbicus Pelaez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the CD Derna players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
