Demetrio Mendigoitia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Palacios Ogero went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Palacios Ogero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrio Mendigoitia having to interfere. 22 minutes in the game Luis Villamayor did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Xamo Sabando. Venerando Osa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Demetrio Mendigoitia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demetrio Mendigoitia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Guiles in the 25th minute of play. Krikorian Olloa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Palacios Ogero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Mendigoitia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barcelona S.C.'s Demetrio Mendigoitia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Palacios Ogero in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Barcelona S.C.'s Xosepin Iturriaga got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Luis Villamayor was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 39 minutes, Ubendu Rufrancos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcelona S.C. and the UD Tejar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Demetrio Mendigoitia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Arnoldo Guiles showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Demetrio Mendigoitia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Palacios Ogero in the 95th minute of the match. Demetrio Mendigoitia made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Arnoldo Guiles sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Barcelona S.C.'s Estevez Sandoval got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the match was over UD Tejar could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Barcelona S.C. throughout the match.
