When Camacho Mutiloa fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Monte Sinahi's protests and gave Camacho Mutiloa a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Club Monte Sinahi got a freekick which was hit by Camacho Mutiloa. Rey Mazon struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Coronel Espinareda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Lugulme. Rodolfo Janer might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregorio Tarabejano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodolfo Janer ran back to his position shaking his head. Rey Mazon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Coronel Espinareda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joffre Pillado kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Narciso Andolz's late challenge caught a CD Lugulme's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narciso Andolz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, Club Monte Sinahi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Andolz to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the CD Lugulme defense, Luciano Mazuelos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregorio Tarabejano. The CD Lugulme fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregorio Tarabejano should have stopped the shot. Alessandro Benito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coronel Espinareda having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Alessandro Benito put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Coronel Espinareda. The audience thought a goal was coming when Morales Fabeiro got free with Gregorio Tarabejano in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 48 minutes CD Lugulme's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Salas Querejeta who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Salas Querejeta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gregorio Tarabejano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodolfo Janer to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Luciano Mazuelos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Monte Sinahi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Lugulme the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club Monte Sinahi's Luciano Mazuelos got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The supporters of CD Lugulme booed when Club Monte Sinahi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salas Querejeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cotera Orosco hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, one of CD Lugulme:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CD Lugulme. The supporters of Club Monte Sinahi booed when CD Lugulme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cotera Orosco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roque Ursua hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 79 minutes in the game, Rey Mazon fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Coronel Espinareda having to interfere. A collision led to CD Lugulme getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Cotera Orosco hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Janer in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregorio Tarabejano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rey Mazon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costante Placiencia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CD Lugulme's Gregorio Tarabejano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Mazuelos in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Monte Sinahi fans cheered their team off the field, for while CD Lugulme had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
