The NERV Football club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raul Urreche should have stopped the shot. Raul Urreche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Cañete in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute Vincente Huergo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Urreche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes of play, Liga De Quito's Jose Leizaur made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raul Urreche was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raul Urreche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Leizaur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vincente Huergo took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raul Urreche. Raul Urreche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 27th minute, Jose Leizaur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raul Urreche was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Felix Carbasa made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Dani Pereña sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zuhaitz Calvo during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Liga De Quito booed when NERV Football club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zuhaitz Calvo didn't get a good kick on the ball. NERV Football club's Raul Urreche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincente Huergo in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, NERV Football club's Zuhaitz Calvo got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 42nd minute, Teo Cañete made a precise shot to the right of Raul Urreche. NERV Football club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Felix Carbasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zuhaitz Calvo in the 47th minute. Jose Leizaur in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Raul Urreche, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 70th minute Vincente Huergo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Urreche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Leizaur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Liga De Quito's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
