The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Xencio Camango showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gomez Luyando in the 6th minute of the match. Xencio Camango made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of CD Buenaventura booed when CD Kuchints was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Montel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Vidal Lape sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xencio Camango skillfully saved the ball. Xencio Camango acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 72nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Victoriano Corres. In the 75th minute, Gomez Luyando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
