A beautiful save bye UD Lucarque's goalie prevented a goal. 5 minutes into the match, Ugutz Santiso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vellito Alberete. UD Lucarque's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ugutz Santiso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Calderón Hortega fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Lucarque's protests and gave Calderón Hortega a yellow card for diving instead. Xzaver Temes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gomez Checa having to interfere. Xzaver Temes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vellito Alberete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ugutz Santiso in the 17th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Augusto Piñeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vellito Alberete was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Elisal FC's goalkeeper Gomez Checa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zavier Granell. 42 minutes into the match, UD Lucarque's Xzaver Temes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gomez Checa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Xzaver Temes made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xzaver Temes in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gomez Checa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ugutz Santiso kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Gomez Checa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zavier Granell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Piñeira in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vellito Alberete, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zavier Granell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Xzaver Temes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Lucarque fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Elisal FC's Ugutz Santiso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vellito Alberete. That made the score 1-2 after 69 minutes of play. After 74 played minutes Elisal FC got a freekick which was hit by Edwin Castro. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Elisal FC! The referee gave UD Lucarque a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Videl Guernica, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Elisal FC's Gomez Checa. 2-2. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Elisal FC's goalkeeper Gomez Checa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ugutz Santiso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Xzaver Temes notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Elisal FC's Gomez Checa. Gomez Checa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 98 minutes into the match, Elisal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xzaver Temes came free, but Gomez Checa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. UD Lucarque had won after a very even match.
