Ruben Acevez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Xulio Trinidad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Libertad Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xulio Trinidad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Escalada in the 23rd minute of play. With a little luck, SHUSHUFINDI S.C.'s Xulio Trinidad got control of the ball when Ruben Acevez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xulio Trinidad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Libertad Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Armando Moran kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If Asensio Barbeito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. After 43 played minutes, SHUSHUFINDI S.C.'s Valentim Conllas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Xizavier Gavilanes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SHUSHUFINDI S.C. reached it. Obregón Errarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xizavier Gavilanes having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Libertad Abreu made the kick off in the second half. Asensio Barbeito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xizavier Gavilanes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. SHUSHUFINDI S.C.'s Xulio Trinidad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Acevez in the 76th minute of play. Obregón Errarte scored 1-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xizavier Gavilanes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Asensio Barbeito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xizavier Gavilanes having to make a save. In the 91st minute, Obregón Errarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xizavier Gavilanes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. TheLgi2 FC's Libertad Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Libertad Abreu in the 98th minute of play forced SHUSHUFINDI S.C.'s goalkeeper Xulio Trinidad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SHUSHUFINDI S.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
