Spectators: 6697 (Terracing: 5010, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 1) Americo Castañiza started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Chuquir's Méndez Faubelo got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute, Juan Cue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Americo Castañiza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Deportivo Chimbacalle getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Victor Legarda hit a great ball. Jaime Belluga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fortunato Torrez in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Fortunato Torrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Belluga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ximen Mezquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fortunato Torrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Belluga having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Fortunato Torrez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chuquir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fortunato Torrez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Chuquir's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Castañiza came free, but Henry Caldevilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Americo Castañiza notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Chuquir's Henry Caldevilla. Henry Caldevilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Henry Caldevilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Bullido in the 35th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Chuquir's Fortunato Torrez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jaime Belluga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fortunato Torrez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fortunato Torrez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jaime Belluga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fortunato Torrez in the 52nd minute of play. Ximen Mezquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Belluga having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Fortunato Torrez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chuquir fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Leandro Bullido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cumbicus Zotillo during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chuquir fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Deportivo Chimbacalle. Garrido Urdiñola stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Henry Caldevilla. 1-2. Jaime Belluga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ximen Mezquita in the 73rd minute of the match. Leandro Bullido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Henry Caldevilla made a huge save. In the 77th minute, Leandro Bullido ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henry Caldevilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Ximen Mezquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Belluga having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, Chuquir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ximen Mezquita to maneuver through the defense. Henry Caldevilla was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Americo Castañiza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Americo Castañiza really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Leandro Bullido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Henry Caldevilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Chuquir supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Deportivo Chimbacalle's performance. The match ended with a win for Deportivo Chimbacalle.
