Spectators: 7345 (Terracing: 5511, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Yago Luey took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xacobo Bernal in the 7th minute of play forced Zula's goalkeeper Gabriel Adornio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yago Luey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Freddy Corrales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Adornio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Dorado in the 18th minute of play. When Rodrigo Cenzano fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juripilaca FC's protests and gave Rodrigo Cenzano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Juripilaca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Cenzano to maneuver through the defense. Desiderio Trabeso hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Freddy Corrales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yago Luey, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Figueroa Viniegra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Corrales having to interfere. Gabriel Adornio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Dorado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Dorado in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Adornio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodrigo Cenzano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabriel Adornio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Santamaria in the 38th minute of the match. If Gerardo Dorado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 48 minutes, Morán Canillas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juripilaca FC and the Zula players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 played minutes Juripilaca FC got a freekick which was hit by Morán Canillas. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerardo Dorado was the one to do the kick off. Gabriel Adornio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Dorado in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Rodrigo Cenzano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gabriel Adornio. The goal made the score 0-1. Rodrigo Cenzano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Juripilaca FC booed when Zula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Villota Caldero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Gerardo Dorado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Zula getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Andres Cadiñanos hit a great ball. Gabriel Adornio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignacio Sena in the 76th minute. Gerardo Dorado in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gabriel Adornio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Yago Luey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Corrales having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Gerardo Dorado in the 83rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A hard shot 85 in the game by Rodrigo Cenzano from a close distance when the talented Gabriel Adornio managed to make a qualified save. Zula's players were relieved. Zula's Gabriel Adornio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Zula from getting a goal against them. If Joaquin Santamaria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Dorado struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Gabriel Adornio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juripilaca FC. Joaquin Santamaria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Gabriel Adornio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gerardo Dorado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Rodrigo Cenzano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juripilaca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Cenzano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Adornio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juripilaca FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
