The supporters of ☂☂ LOS DEL SUR ☂☂ booed when Paluga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Forcadas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Bran Arripe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paluga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bran Arripe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peter Vinegra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wellington Mascarañas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th match minute, Paluga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Forcadas to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Bedoya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wellington Mascarañas's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Jorge Bedoya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wellington Mascarañas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34thth minute of the game Wellington Mascarañas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ☂☂ LOS DEL SUR ☂☂'s Jorge Bedoya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Bran Arripe came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Paluga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bran Arripe couldn't finish the play. Wellington Mascarañas struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Jorge Bedoya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paluga. 41 minutes into the game, Paluga's Bran Arripe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorge Bedoya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Ignacio Antigua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wellington Mascarañas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ignacio Antigua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 55 played minutes Paluga got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Arijola. Romo Adriano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Vinegra in the 57th minute of the match. After 63 minutes, Martin Turrilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ☂☂ LOS DEL SUR ☂☂ and the Paluga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Martin Turrilla hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Bran Arripe struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Jorge Bedoya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paluga. 68 minutes into the match, Paluga's Bran Arripe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Bedoya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. During the 68th minute of the match Martin Turrilla completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Martin Turrilla a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, ☂☂ LOS DEL SUR ☂☂'s Martin Turrilla got a free kick in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the match, ☂☂ LOS DEL SUR ☂☂'s goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Mascarañas came free, but Jorge Bedoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
