The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Unai Azpilcueta charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Unai Azpilcueta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Barcelona Sporting Club getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Unai Azpilcueta hit a great ball. Colo SC's Arias Umbria suffered a sore thigh after 10 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 11 minutes, Alvarez Escoto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcelona Sporting Club and the Colo SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Colo SC's Lucio Camarero was substituted for Arias Umbria. After a rather tough play, Barcelona Sporting Club's Alvarez Escoto got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 14thth minute of the game Alberto Leiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barcelona Sporting Club's Quintana Ibarzabal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Quintana Ibarzabal came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Colo SC's Rios Roqueñi. But to his dismay, Rios Roqueñi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Rubio Repuente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose-Antonio Santistevan, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Rios Roqueñi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Quintana Ibarzabal 24 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Justavino Gormaz put in a rough tackle. After 30 minutes of play, Barcelona Sporting Club's Xzaiver Mejina made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rubio Repuente was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barcelona Sporting Club's Quintana Ibarzabal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Barcelona Sporting Club from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Barcelona Sporting Club getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Eugenio Tudela hit a great ball. When Barcelona Sporting Club's Peter Segura in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colo SC's goalie prevented a goal. Rios Roqueñis short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Quintana Ibarzabal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 43rd minute Alex Imaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quintana Ibarzabal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Barcelona Sporting Club's Peter Segura got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Segura in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rubio Repuente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Colo SC booed when Barcelona Sporting Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xzaiver Mejina didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Rios Roqueñi put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Quintana Ibarzabal. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Barcelona Sporting Club's goalkeeper Quintana Ibarzabal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alex Imaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Quintana Ibarzabal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rios Roqueñi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quintana Ibarzabal having to interfere. Alex Imaz struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Quintana Ibarzabal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colo SC. Colo SC's Rubio Repuente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Segura in the 81st minute of play. Rios Roqueñi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Colo SC's Alex Imaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quintana Ibarzabal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rios Roqueñi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Quintana Ibarzabal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colo SC's Rios Roqueñi got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, Alex Imaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Quintana Ibarzabal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
