Zunbeltz Tavarez struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Xepe Pagan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Racing. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rixon Ibarrola during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, CA Racing's Rixon Ibarrola got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute Yiyo Canto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Montalvo Argüelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, CA Racing's goal looked a bit too open when Mora Candana came free, but Montalvo Argüelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, CA Racing's Saritama Llana got a free kick in the 29th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mora Candana to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rixon Ibarrola in the 53rd minute of play forced Naranjal's goalkeeper Xepe Pagan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, CA Racing's Montalvo Argüelles got control of the ball when Yiyo Canto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Montalvo Argüelles successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to CA Racing getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Veremundo Gayo hit a great ball. Yiyo Canto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Montalvo Argüelles having to interfere. 100 minutes into the match, CA Racing's goalkeeper Montalvo Argüelles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yiyo Canto. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
