After a rather tough play, Corales FC's Stacio Abar got a free kick in the 9th minute. Fiallos Haro took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pancho Ilarraz. Pancho Ilarraz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Stacio Abar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villarreal Eraña having to interfere. Luzuriaga Torroba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabriel Reigosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pancho Ilarraz having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Luzuriaga Torroba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luzuriaga Torroba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Villarreal Eraña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stacio Abar, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Luzuriaga Torroba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 32nd minute, one of Manchester Utd.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Manchester Utd.. If Stacio Abar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manchester Utd.'s Villarreal Eraña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luzuriaga Torroba in the 41st minute of play. Checa Sarandeses fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villarreal Eraña having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester Utd.'s zone, Luzuriaga Torroba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Villarreal Eraña came out of the goal and Luzuriaga Torroba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Luzuriaga Torroba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Luzuriaga Torroba came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Corales FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luzuriaga Torroba couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Villarreal Eraña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Stacio Abar made a precise shot to the right of Villarreal Eraña. Manchester Utd.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Luzuriaga Torroba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Villarreal Eraña read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Corales FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
