Spectators: 7343 (Terracing: 5509, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) Absolut Blue's Victorino Remolino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, one of Absolut Blue:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Manchester Utd. a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Espiga Olier, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Absolut Blue's Cotera Abeijon. 0-1. In the 10th minute, Andres Can hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cotera Abeijon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Martin, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Manchester Utd.'s Fiallos Haro got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gonzalo Buron charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonzalo Buron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Absolut Blue booed when Manchester Utd. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Buron didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Victorino Remolino took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Villarreal Eraña to make any attempt to save it. 25 minutes into the match, Fiallos Haro notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Absolut Blue's Cotera Abeijon. Cotera Abeijon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Victorino Remolino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Villarreal Eraña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 minutes of play, Manchester Utd.'s Fiallos Haro made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cotera Abeijon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Villarreal Eraña made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Valenzuela in the 37th minute. If Jorge Valenzuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester Utd.'s zone, Victorino Remolino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Villarreal Eraña came out of the goal and Victorino Remolino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Absolut Blue's Villarreal Eraña threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victorino Remolino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jorge Valenzuela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clemente Martin was the one to do the kick off. Victorino Remolino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villarreal Eraña having to interfere. Jorge Valenzuela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Villarreal Eraña having to make a save. Villarreal Eraña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Valenzuela in the 66th minute of the match. Fiallos Haro took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cotera Abeijon. Cotera Abeijon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 72nd minute Clemente Martin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cotera Abeijon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 played minutes Absolut Blue got a freekick which was hit by Andres Can. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Clemente Martin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester Utd.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Martin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cotera Abeijon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute, Fiallos Haro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cotera Abeijon. The goal made the score 1-5. When Victorino Remolino came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Absolut Blue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Remolino couldn't finish the play. Jorge Valenzuela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Villarreal Eraña read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Absolut Blue lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
