The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Vargas F.C © GYE's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Oquendo came free, but Kléber Burdeos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cuero Zumalburu made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Geancarlos Murrillo sent off a good shot on target. Geancarlos Murrillo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cuero Zumalburu firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Geancarlos Murrillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Omar Arada who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Cuero Zumalburu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Omar Arada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cuero Zumalburu made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Omar Arada sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Arada in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cuero Zumalburu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the game, Ismael Oquendo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guabillo SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vargas F.C © GYE the free kick. Ismael Oquendo might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kléber Burdeos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ismael Oquendo ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Arada got free with Cuero Zumalburu in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valeriu Cristescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Arada in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The supporters of Vargas F.C © GYE booed when Guabillo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cortez Zumaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cuero Zumalburu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Vargas F.C © GYE's Omar Arada shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When Vargas F.C © GYE's Omar Arada in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guabillo SC's goalie prevented a goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omar Arada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Guabillo SC got a freekick which was hit by Cortez Zumaya. Estevez Carrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléber Burdeos having to interfere. In the 60th minute Geancarlos Murrillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cuero Zumalburu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cuero Zumalburu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Arada, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. John Verdes kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Ismael Oquendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléber Burdeos having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Vidal Burbua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guabillo SC and the Vargas F.C © GYE players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Guabillo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vidal Burbua to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Vargas F.C © GYE's Zé Roberto Amaral in action when he in the 70th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! If Geancarlos Murrillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vargas F.C © GYE's Geancarlos Murrillo got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cuero Zumalburu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geancarlos Murrillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 86th minute Omar Arada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cuero Zumalburu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Guabillo SC's zone, Geancarlos Murrillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cuero Zumalburu came out of the goal and Geancarlos Murrillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Omar Arada struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Cuero Zumalburu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vargas F.C © GYE. Cuero Zumalburu came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Vargas F.C © GYE's Geancarlos Murrillo. But to his dismay, Geancarlos Murrillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Vargas F.C © GYE walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
