Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Agustín Valverde kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Valverde in the 6th minute of play forced Manta FC's goalkeeper Roque Ferragudo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Espinola Liquiñano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Espinola Liquiñano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zuberoa Redeño having to interfere. After having played for 14 minutes, Fernando Lope managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LRPV FOOTBALL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Lope was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manta FC's Espinola Liquiñano managed to work through LRPV FOOTBALL's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Espinola Liquiñano dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. With a little luck, LRPV FOOTBALL's Zuberoa Redeño got control of the ball when George Villodas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignacio Beamud during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ignacio Beamud hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. LRPV FOOTBALL's Zuberoa Redeño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Espinola Liquiñano in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Manta FC's zone, Fernando Lope stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Ferragudo came out of the goal and Fernando Lope tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute of the match, Espinola Liquiñano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zuberoa Redeño saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 38th play minute George Villodas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zuberoa Redeño. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Villodas got free with Zuberoa Redeño in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Espinola Liquiñano to strike the kick off in the second half. Agustín Valverde struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Roque Ferragudo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LRPV FOOTBALL. Zuberoa Redeño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Villodas in the 52nd minute of play. Espinola Liquiñano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zuberoa Redeño having to interfere. LRPV FOOTBALL's Zuberoa Redeño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Villodas in the 62nd minute of play. Roque Ferragudo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Valverde in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Manta FC's zone, Agustín Valverde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Ferragudo came out of the goal and Agustín Valverde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 70 minutes, René Buye mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manta FC and the LRPV FOOTBALL players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Manta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by René Buye to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Ignacio Beamud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led Manta FC's Nixon Olasagasti to fire away a dangerous shot which Zuberoa Redeño despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When George Villodas came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Manta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Villodas couldn't finish the play. Zuberoa Redeño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Espinola Liquiñano, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. George Villodas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zuberoa Redeño having to interfere. With an all-out effort, LRPV FOOTBALL's Roque Ferragudo threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Agustín Valverde, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Lope got free with Roque Ferragudo in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Manta FC had won after a very even match.
