Joel Madrazo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Henry Echave made a huge save. Joel Madrazo struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Henry Echave didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Aguacate. Gabriel Menocal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guagua Ruilopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Guagua Ruilopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Gabriel Menocal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aguirre Laguardia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in barcelona's zone, Xines Soldevilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Echave came out of the goal and Xines Soldevilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Madrazo took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henry Echave. Henry Echave dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Gabriel Menocal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viteri Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viteri Quadros to strike the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Hidalgo Vinas. After 68 minutes barcelona's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabian Belarrinaga who took care of the corner kick. The corner led CD Aguacate's Fabian Belarrinaga to fire away a dangerous shot which Henry Echave despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 71st minute, Xurxo Simancas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. barcelona's Viteri Quadros pulled a muscle in his back after 77 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 76 minutes into the game, one of CD Aguacate:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 85 minutes, Aguirre Laguardia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the barcelona and the CD Aguacate players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aguirre Laguardia hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in barcelona's zone, Xines Soldevilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. For all the effort they put into the match, the barcelona players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CD Aguacate.
