In the 3rd minute, Torres Portera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marlon Jado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulizes Verdugo in the 5th minute of the match. Marcos Faubelo hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute Armando Abendaño managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walme Ganchegui in the 12th minute of play forced Monkeys FC -LS-'s goalkeeper Marlon Jado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Viña hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute León Arnedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Riva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Monkeys FC -LS- getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ariel Fontecilla hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Walme Ganchegui made a precise shot to the right of Marlon Jado. Monkeys FC -LS-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in TITANES F.C.'s zone, León Arnedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Riva came out of the goal and León Arnedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marlon Jado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walme Ganchegui's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The Monkeys FC -LS- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. TITANES F.C. were winning 0-1.

58 minutes into the game, Mellington Santibañez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TITANES F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monkeys FC -LS- the free kick. After a rather tough play, TITANES F.C.'s Mellington Santibañez got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute John Lejalde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Riva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walme Ganchegui in the 62nd minute of play forced Monkeys FC -LS-'s goalkeeper Marlon Jado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. León Arnedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Riva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. León Arnedo ran back to his position shaking his head. John Lejalde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Gustavo Riva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marlon Jado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walme Ganchegui in the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, TITANES F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torres Portera to maneuver through the defense. Monkeys FC -LS-'s Armando Abendaño couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for TITANES F.C.. When John Lejalde came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Monkeys FC -LS- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Lejalde couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute León Arnedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Riva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If John Lejalde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Riva came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Monkeys FC -LS-'s John Lejalde. But to his dismay, John Lejalde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Armando Abendaño took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gustavo Riva. TITANES F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by León Arnedo in the 92nd minute of play forced TITANES F.C.'s goalkeeper Gustavo Riva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. León Arnedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gustavo Riva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
