After a defensive mix-up in El Valle de los Chillos's zone, Ulizes Verdugo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Deza came out of the goal and Ulizes Verdugo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franklin Robles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Riva having to interfere. Walme Ganchegui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Deza having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Xaver Soveron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, El Valle de los Chillos's Armando Deza got control of the ball when Ulizes Verdugo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armando Deza was a little too slow when Walme Ganchegui got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. Gustavo Riva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Robles, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Franklin Robles scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Riva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Armando Deza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulizes Verdugo in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to El Valle de los Chillos getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Blandón Meldasgoas hit a great ball. TITANES F.C.'s Americo Igay couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for El Valle de los Chillos. Felipe Viña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Armando Deza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franklin Robles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Walme Ganchegui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walme Ganchegui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Armando Deza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. El Valle de los Chillos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TITANES F.C. the free kick. Franklin Robles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 played minutes TITANES F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Xalbador Escorcia. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Demetrio Villafañe managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Valle de los Chillos's supporters rose to their feet, but Demetrio Villafañe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Riva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Armando Deza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walme Ganchegui in the 80th minute of the match. El Valle de los Chillos's Armando Deza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walme Ganchegui in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute Ulizes Verdugo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Deza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Felipe Viña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demetrio Villafañe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Gustavo Riva made a huge save. In the 87th minute, El Valle de los Chillos's Demetrio Villafañe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gustavo Riva. Gustavo Riva yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Chants of El Valle de los Chillos echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as TITANES F.C. had held the ball for most of the match.
