An unexpectedly hard shot by Xaver Bultes in the 6th minute of play forced HEAD HUNTER's goalkeeper Alberto Morelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Royal Blood's goal looked a bit too open when Almandoz Amo came free, but Juan-Pablo Frago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Urdaspal Fresnedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan-Pablo Frago. Royal Blood's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Urdaspal Fresnedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind HEAD HUNTER's goalkeeper Alberto Morelo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xaver Bultes in the 27th minute of play forced HEAD HUNTER's goalkeeper Alberto Morelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 played minutes Royal Blood got a freekick which was hit by Anangonó España. Paredes Ucedo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute of the match Americo Ariztimuño shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan-Pablo Frago showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Royal Blood defense, Urdaspal Fresnedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan-Pablo Frago. The Royal Blood fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan-Pablo Frago should have stopped the shot. Espínola Gandio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Alberto Morelo made a huge save. Bagui Barranco's late challenge caught a Royal Blood's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bagui Barranco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, HEAD HUNTER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bagui Barranco to maneuver through the defense. Espínola Gandio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Alberto Morelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Americo Ariztimuño hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xaver Bultes to make the kick off. Juan-Pablo Frago made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Urdaspal Fresnedo sent off a good shot on target. Juan-Pablo Frago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bagui Barranco, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Xaver Bultes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute Xaver Bultes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Morelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Espínola Gandio took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Morelo. Alberto Morelo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Juan-Pablo Frago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urdaspal Fresnedo in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Bagui Barranco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HEAD HUNTER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Alberto Morelo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Espínola Gandio's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Royal Blood's Juan-Pablo Frago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Royal Blood from getting a goal against them. Juan-Pablo Frago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bagui Barranco in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute, Urdaspal Fresnedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan-Pablo Frago was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. In the 95th minute Espínola Gandio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Morelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Royal Blood booed when HEAD HUNTER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bagui Barranco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The HEAD HUNTER supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing HEAD HUNTER would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
