After 7 played minutes UD Solanda got a freekick which was hit by Marlon Pares. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Xaver Bultes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Royal Blood's supporters rose to their feet, but Xaver Bultes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodriguez Lujo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xinto Torto charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xinto Torto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rodriguez Lujo came out of the goal and Espínola Gandio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodriguez Lujo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xaver Bultes in the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of Royal Blood booed when UD Solanda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Ramires didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodriguez Lujo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Espínola Gandio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Espínola Gandio took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodriguez Lujo. Rodriguez Lujo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xaver Bultes to make the kick off. Rodriguez Lujo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xaver Bultes's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, UD Solanda's goalkeeper Rodriguez Lujo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xavierlada Molinuevo. In the 65th match minute, UD Solanda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xerardo Mensa to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Arlín Oteo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Royal Blood's supporters rose to their feet, but Arlín Oteo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodriguez Lujo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Velasquez hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Rodriguez Lujo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xaver Bultes in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Xaver Bultes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UD Solanda's Rodriguez Lujo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xaver Bultes hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Juan Velasquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Xavierlada Molinuevo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute of the match, Xaver Bultes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rodriguez Lujo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rodriguez Lujo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xaver Bultes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Espínola Gandio got free with Rodriguez Lujo in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodriguez Lujo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xaver Bultes in the 88th minute of the match. Xaver Bultes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Rodriguez Lujo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xaver Bultes in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodriguez Lujo saved UD Solanda from getting behind. In the 95th minute Xaver Bultes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguez Lujo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Royal Blood played a much better game than UD Solanda and deserved their victory. The UD Solanda players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
