After a rather tough play, Yuracrucito's José-Francisco Carreras got a free kick in the 24th minute. IFK 1899's Raúl Bolonga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candelario Arregui in the 27th minute of play. Parrales Repuente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 minutes, Javier Moniz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IFK 1899 and the Yuracrucito players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th match minute, IFK 1899 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Moniz to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, IFK 1899's goal looked a bit too open when Candelario Arregui came free, but Raúl Bolonga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind IFK 1899's goalkeeper Raúl Bolonga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 50 minutes had been played when some careless play by IFK 1899's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Angulo Torralba was slow to take the kick. During this time Yuracrucito's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Angulo Torralba almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but IFK 1899's Raúl Bolonga did a great save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Candelario Arregui was the one to do the kick off. Zabal Valines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidal Vilarrubia in the 56th minute of the match. Vidal Vilarrubia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zabal Valines having to interfere. Parrales Repuente's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raúl Bolonga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After 75 played minutes IFK 1899 got a freekick which was hit by Estevez Piñeiro. Raúl Bolonga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Parrales Repuente in the 83rd minute. Parrales Repuente blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raúl Bolonga having to make a save. Vidal Vilarrubia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Zabal Valines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Yuracrucito got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Alais. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vidal Vilarrubia in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zabal Valines saved Yuracrucito from getting behind. 91 minutes into the match, Yuracrucito's goal looked a bit too open when Vidal Vilarrubia came free, but Zabal Valines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Vidal Vilarrubia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zabal Valines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
