The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to C.D. EvOlUcIoN getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Perez Othaz hit a great ball. Lavalle Notes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Raúl Bolonga made a huge save. Lavalle Notes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Lavalle Notes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raúl Bolonga. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in IFK 1899's zone, Moreno Zarraga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raúl Bolonga came out of the goal and Moreno Zarraga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moreno Zarraga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raúl Bolonga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Lavalle Notes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Raúl Bolonga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raúl Bolonga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lavalle Notes in the 25th minute. The supporters of C.D. EvOlUcIoN booed when IFK 1899 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Moniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, IFK 1899's Moreta Uriondo got a free kick in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, C.D. EvOlUcIoN's Perez Othaz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Sanches got free with Raúl Bolonga in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, C.D. EvOlUcIoN's Armando Sanches dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Armando Sanches scored 4-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raúl Bolonga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moreno Zarraga to strike the kick off in the second half. Raúl Bolonga didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when C.D. EvOlUcIoN's Lavalle Notes shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. C.D. EvOlUcIoN's Halis Demirel got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lavalle Notes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl Bolonga having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Lavalle Notes made a precise shot to the right of Raúl Bolonga. IFK 1899's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Justavino Guillemez's late challenge caught a IFK 1899's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justavino Guillemez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to C.D. EvOlUcIoN getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Justavino Guillemez hit a great ball. If Lavalle Notes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.D. EvOlUcIoN's Justavino Guillemez suffered a concussion after 82 minutes and had to leave the field. Almandoz Moya charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Almandoz Moya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. C.D. EvOlUcIoN's Leoverliz Cerredo was substituted for Justavino Guillemez. Almandoz Moya hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Lavalle Notes put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Raúl Bolonga. Lavalle Notes might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raúl Bolonga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lavalle Notes ran back to his position shaking his head. Leoverliz Cerredo scored 9-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raúl Bolonga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walme Hortega during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th match minute, C.D. EvOlUcIoN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walme Hortega to maneuver through the defense. C.D. EvOlUcIoN walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
