Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Roberto Sierro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Roberto Sierro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 6 minutes, Guagua Bujan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Travesao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guagua Bujan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Unai Arteson hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Frutos Villamizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guagua Bujan, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guagua Bujan in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frutos Villamizar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, Robin Negral dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rafael Torriba, 1-0. The supporters of Travesao booed when UD Cadeate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ledesma Tixido didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th match minute, Travesao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Avalos to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute of the match Villegas Urguia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Torriba showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guagua Bujan in the 39th minute of play forced UD Cadeate's goalkeeper Frutos Villamizar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guagua Bujan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aguinaga Aparicio came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Travesao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aguinaga Aparicio couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute Guagua Bujan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frutos Villamizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Travesao's Oswaldo Matallana got a free kick in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guagua Bujan to make the kick off. Guagua Bujan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Frutos Villamizar came out and tried to block the shot, but Guagua Bujan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 52nd minute. UD Cadeate's Frutos Villamizar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save UD Cadeate from getting a goal against them. Rafael Torriba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Sierro in the 59th minute of play. Travesao's Rafael Torriba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Monesterio in the 65th minute of play. Rene Ispuzua was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Rene Ispuzua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edwin Izuzquiza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Frutos Villamizar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 played minutes UD Cadeate got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Sierro. Frutos Villamizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Hermida, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Aguinaga Aparicio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Frutos Villamizar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Celso Hermida came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Travesao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Hermida couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Travesao could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than UD Cadeate throughout the match.
