An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Leyte in the 25th minute of play forced CD Diolen's goalkeeper Helge Jørler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zaquiel Llosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Zaquiel Llosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Capetillo was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Marco Capetillo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teofilio Boladeras showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 41 minute of play. Teofilio Boladeras helped the player get up and apologised. Helge Jørler made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Celso Esqueda sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute, Santos Albalate hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes Patria S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Corozo Escoto. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Patria S.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bustos Zumiel was slow to take the kick. During this time CD Diolen's players had a chance to rest. Bustos Zumiel made a great header on CD Diolen's corner, it was just that Patria S.C.'s Marco Capetillo managed to reach the ball for a save. Vilson Mariña charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
