The tension between the Atlético Metropolitano SC and the Jarata SD players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Atlético Metropolitano SC booed when Jarata SD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zenaido Larren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Telmo Villagra made a precise shot to the right of Zavier Granero. Atlético Metropolitano SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 11th minute, Zenaido Larren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zavier Granero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xinto Somellero in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zavier Granero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Castillo Logroño's late challenge caught a Jarata SD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Castillo Logroño helped the player get up and apologised. Zenaido Larren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Quiñónez Olloque during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Telmo Villagra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Xinto Somellero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zavier Granero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenaido Larren, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Zenaido Larren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zavier Granero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Ponce Sobron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Zenaido Larren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35thth minute of the game Xinto Somellero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Metropolitano SC's Zavier Granero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Libertad Principe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zavier Granero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ponce Sobron in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Valentin Yañez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Roberto Orejo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ponce Sobron struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Zavier Granero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jarata SD. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Xinto Somellero made the kick off in the second half. Xinto Somellero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Zavier Granero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zavier Granero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Telmo Villagra in the 58th minute. When Telmo Villagra came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Jarata SD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Telmo Villagra couldn't finish the play. Zavier Granero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xinto Somellero in the 62nd minute of the match. If Libertad Principe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Walme Vinuesa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Jarata SD's Telmo Villagra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. 83 minutes into the game, Libertad Principe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jarata SD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Metropolitano SC the free kick. After 83 played minutes Jarata SD got a freekick which was hit by Libertad Principe. Roberto Orejo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Durante, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Ponce Sobron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zavier Granero having to interfere. Zenaido Larren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roberto Orejo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Durante in the 92nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Ponce Sobron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jarata SD's supporters rose to their feet, but Ponce Sobron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zavier Granero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jarata SD's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
