Spectators: 6697 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zuri Acosta kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Aguilas getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Zuri Acosta hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, UD Lechuga's Mendoza Engraba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Salas Santiuste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Trabado, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Víctor Reyero in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salas Santiuste prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the match, Víctor Reyero notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of UD Lechuga's Salas Santiuste. Salas Santiuste was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Machado Pernia made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Mendoza Engraba sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute UD Lechuga were awarded a corner. Leonel Armea went to the cornerflag to take it. UD Lechuga's Leonel Armea was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Machado Pernia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 23 minutes, Mendoza Engraba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Lechuga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mendoza Engraba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Salas Santiuste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zuri Acosta, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, UD Lechuga's Sánchez Chapital got a free kick in the 28th minute. Machado Pernia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Negroni went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Salas Santiuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víctor Reyero in the 38th minute of play. Salas Santiuste stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolando Trabado's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Salas Santiuste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zuri Acosta in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, UD Lechuga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Negroni to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Rolando Trabado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salas Santiuste was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mendoza Engraba to make the kick off. With a little luck, UD Lechuga's Salas Santiuste got control of the ball when Rolando Trabado tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mendoza Engraba in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Machado Pernia saved Aguilas from getting behind. Salas Santiuste was a little too slow when Zuri Acosta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 2-3. In the 67th minute, Urbez Enriquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aguilas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. A collision led to UD Lechuga getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Diego Negroni hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Aguilas's Zuri Acosta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. Salas Santiuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víctor Reyero in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute Zuri Acosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salas Santiuste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salas Santiuste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zuri Acosta in the 78th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Víctor Reyero got free with Salas Santiuste in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Salas Santiuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zuri Acosta in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute, Rolando Trabado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Trabado got free with Salas Santiuste in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 95 minutes of play, UD Lechuga's Stefan Tindale made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Machado Pernia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aguilas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
