The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ordóñez Padro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Asensio Escobars short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Ordóñez Padro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice moves Asensio Escobar could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Ordóñez Padro however easily saved by the left post. If Asensio Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerro SC's goalkeeper Ricardo Fano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jácome Cardenas in the 94th minute of play forced Mugos Sporting Club's goalkeeper Ordóñez Padro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jácome Cardenas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ordóñez Padro having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
