Borrachitos F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaramillo Aldeco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Borrachitos F.C's zone, Jaramillo Aldeco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairón Calviño came out of the goal and Jaramillo Aldeco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaramillo Aldeco in the 82nd minute of play forced Borrachitos F.C's goalkeeper Jairón Calviño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jaramillo Aldeco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute Villota Renedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairón Calviño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cuchitingue's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
