Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Urdaspal Horquizar kicked off to start the match. Renán Armiñan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Navarro Castañondo having to interfere. Teo Rino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 5th minute. XC Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the last second Navarro Castañondo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Teo Rino in the 8thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 10th minute, Teo Rino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute, Teo Rino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Navarro Castañondo. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Rino in the 15th minute of play forced offensive team name not allowed's goalkeeper Navarro Castañondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Intriago Creus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Navarro Castañondo having to interfere. 17 minutes in the game, Teo Rino fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Navarro Castañondo having to interfere. Teo Rino struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Navarro Castañondo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for XC Ecuador. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind offensive team name not allowed's goalkeeper Navarro Castañondo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Navarro Castañondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Rino, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 48 played minutes offensive team name not allowed got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Orejas. Espinola Maixenchs, 49 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After a defensive mix-up in XC Ecuador's zone, Klimowitz Abastas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vachon Gago came out of the goal and Klimowitz Abastas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Navarro Castañondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Intriago Creus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santo Morros during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of offensive team name not allowed booed when XC Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Morros didn't get a good kick on the ball. XC Ecuador's Intriago Creus got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, offensive team name not allowed's Klimowitz Abastas got a free kick in the 96th minute. If Intriago Creus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
