Spectators: 6672 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valerio Padin started the match with the kick off. In the 5th match minute, Niton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Sociats to maneuver through the defense. Balsalito FC's Gian-Carlo Bueno got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niton's Xan Rosich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ximenez Alsina in the 8th minute of play. Peter Hernan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Anguiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costante Verga hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Balsalito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valerio Padin came free, but Peter Hernan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xan Rosich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ximenez Alsina in the 14th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Ximenez Alsina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xan Rosich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Estacio Munozcano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Niton booed when Balsalito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gian-Carlo Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xan Rosich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gian-Carlo Bueno in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Ximenez Alsina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xan Rosich was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ximenez Alsina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Estacio Munozcano in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xan Rosich saved Niton from getting behind. Costante Verga struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Xan Rosich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balsalito FC. 41 minutes into the game, one of Balsalito FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Peter Hernan, was totally fooled by Niton's Maximo Sociats, who 44 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Estacio Munozcano made a kick off. Estacio Munozcano struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Xan Rosich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balsalito FC. After having played for 57 minutes, Costante Verga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balsalito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Costante Verga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ximenez Alsina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute Valerio Padin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Hernan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Greña made in the 64th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Santos Anguiano. After 65 minutes, Costante Verga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balsalito FC and the Niton players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute, Costante Verga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Estacio Munozcano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Niton booed when Balsalito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Palanca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Maximo Sociats shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Peter Hernan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Balsalito FC's Estacio Munozcano got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Estacio Munozcano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ximenez Alsina in the 85th minute of play forced Niton's goalkeeper Xan Rosich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Costante Verga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balsalito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Costante Verga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xan Rosich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Estacio Munozcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Xan Rosich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Balsalito FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
