Rubio Oruña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Alvaro Folle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Vincente Egaña ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonardo Cadimo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Teobaldo Tomi fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Sao's protests and gave Teobaldo Tomi a yellow card for diving instead. 15 minutes into the game, one of CD Sao:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vincente Egaña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Leonardo Cadimo made a huge save. The supporters of Lestat Futbol Club booed when CD Sao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Ledru didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Rubio Oruña in the 26th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When CD Sao's Rubio Oruña in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Leonardo Cadimo came out of the goal and Venceslao Carrete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rubio Oruña in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Folle saved Lestat Futbol Club from getting behind. Simon Ledru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pavel Santamaria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. CD Sao's Leonardo Cadimo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save CD Sao from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xamo Azadon to make the kick off. Domingo Milla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Folle having to interfere. Zeru Mendosa's late challenge caught a CD Sao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeru Mendosa helped the player get up and apologised. Zeru Mendosa kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Lestat Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ximun Ledrado to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes, CD Sao's Simon Ledru shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alvaro Folle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CD Sao reached it. Leonardo Cadimo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincente Egaña in the 74th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Rubio Oruña took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Alvaro Folle to make any attempt to save it. In the 83rd minute, CD Sao's Pavel Santamaria dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Rubio Oruña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Folle having to interfere. Alvaro Folle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Santamaria in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Simon Ledru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvaro Folle made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Rubio Oruña sent off a good shot on target. The Lestat Futbol Club support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
