In the 9th minute, UD CONGO's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zabal Antoñana fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Warriors's Claudinei Severo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 9th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Umbruso Neriz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Warriors's Claudinei Severo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 16 minutes into the match, Zabal Antoñana notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of UD CONGO's Umbruso Neriz. Umbruso Neriz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 20 played minutes UD CONGO got a freekick which was hit by Christobal Tecla. In the 22nd minute, Azconzábal Sesma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Azconzábal Sesma came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the UD CONGO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Azconzábal Sesma couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in UD CONGO's zone, Claudinei Severo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Umbruso Neriz came out of the goal and Claudinei Severo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zabal Antoñana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umbruso Neriz having to interfere. Azconzábal Sesma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Otto Lindqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, UD CONGO's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Nofre came free, but Umbruso Neriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Azconzábal Sesma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD CONGO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Azconzábal Sesma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Warriors defense, Azconzábal Sesma kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Otto Lindqvist. The Warriors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Otto Lindqvist should have stopped the shot. Claudinei Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Umbruso Neriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanni Villasana in the 53rd minute of play. Zabal Antoñana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Umbruso Neriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Warriors's Otto Lindqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azconzábal Sesma in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Rosendo Nofre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Umbruso Neriz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 73rd minute, Zabal Antoñana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Umbruso Neriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Nofre, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Zabal Antoñana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rosendo Nofre came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Warriors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rosendo Nofre couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute Azconzábal Sesma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Lindqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
