José-Manuel Baca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Gaiță in the 19th minute. Legionarios FC's Palacios Villasana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubelteso Velasco in the 21st minute of play. José-Manuel Baca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alexander Matias showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. The supporters of Legionarios FC booed when Arrechos United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Espínola Queralt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Robin Ciaño sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Arrechos United's José-Manuel Baca didn't even have to move. Quiróz Valines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Gaiță in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José-Manuel Baca saved Arrechos United from getting behind. After 45 minutes, Fabricio Benegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arrechos United and the Legionarios FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabricio Benegas kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ubelteso Velasco to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Alexander Matias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José-Manuel Baca. Arrechos United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander Matias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The referee ignored Arrechos United's protests and gave Juan-Alfredo Oberto a yellow card for diving instead. Legionarios FC's Boris Margarita was substituted for Atay Tacir. In the 71st minute, Quiróz Valines got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Legionarios FC had played much better football throughout.
