The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Gacel in the 3rd minute of play forced Capzhua SC's goalkeeper Victor Pangusion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the match, UD Azucar's goal looked a bit too open when Ximenez Gordo came free, but Henry Sobero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Pangusion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Gacel in the 7th minute of the match. UD Azucar's Xandro Tordesillas got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Capzhua SC's zone, Wilson Gacel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Pangusion came out of the goal and Wilson Gacel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, UD Azucar's Rafael Arguiso got a free kick in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the match, UD Azucar's goal looked a bit too open when Ximenez Gordo came free, but Henry Sobero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of UD Azucar booed when Capzhua SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oso Remon didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Vinicio Gamarra fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Azucar's protests and gave Vinicio Gamarra a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to UD Azucar getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Vinicio Gamarra hit a great ball. Henry Sobero made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Oso Remon sent off a good shot on target. Victor Pangusion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xandro Tordesillas, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Oso Remon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Henry Sobero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Oso Remon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ximenez Gordo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Henry Sobero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ximenez Gordo to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Capzhua SC's Zuñiga Reinoso got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 56thth minute of the game Oso Remon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UD Azucar's Henry Sobero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Oso Remon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Henry Sobero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oso Remon, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Rafael Arguiso kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. UD Azucar's Henry Sobero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oso Remon in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, UD Azucar's goal looked a bit too open when Oso Remon came free, but Henry Sobero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xandro Tordesillas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of UD Azucar booed when Capzhua SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zuñiga Reinoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xandro Tordesillas took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Pangusion. Victor Pangusion dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. During the 75th minute of the match Vinicio Gamarra completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Vinicio Gamarra a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 82 minutes into the game, Rafael Arguiso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Azucar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capzhua SC the free kick. After a rather tough play, UD Azucar's Rafael Arguiso got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Ximenez Gordo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Ximenez Gordo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henry Sobero was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 91 minutes into the game, Capzhua SC's Oso Remon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henry Sobero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Oso Remon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UD Azucar's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
