An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Eugenio Puelles got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 42 minutes into the match, UD Saquimala's Eugenio Puelles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frutos Aspurua narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 43 minutes, Ulizes Constante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chical FC and the UD Saquimala players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Alarcón Canal made the kick off in the second half. If Alarcón Canal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José-Luis Arrueta made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Alarcón Canal sent off a good shot on target. After 70 played minutes UD Saquimala got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Lerea. Eugenio Puelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UD Saquimala's Camilo Cuerva got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Eugenio Puelles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José-Luis Arrueta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alarcón Canal in the 90th minute. Alarcón Canal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chical FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
