When Alvarez Tezanos came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the El Zunac United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvarez Tezanos couldn't finish the play. In the 39th match minute, F.C. βarçe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Arenchen to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the game, Eugenio Izar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Zunac United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. βarçe the free kick. Eugenio Izar hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Braulio Montoya took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Villota Ocariz. El Zunac United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. The audience was convinced that Krikorian Sevillano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Villota Ocariz was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Anibal Caspe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Emiliano Pablo made a huge save. F.C. βarçe's Emiliano Pablo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Izar in the 86th minute of play. If Luciano Arenchen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Villota Ocariz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krikorian Sevillano in the 93rd minute of play. Alvarez Tezanos hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Braulio Montoya, 98 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The F.C. βarçe fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Zunac United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
