Garrido Zumiza scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antonio Elguero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Humberto Sanchez fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Azucar SC's protests and gave Humberto Sanchez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Humberto Sanchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Azucar SC's Suárez Holgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Azucar SC from getting a goal against them. When Rubén Arista came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the IRIS FC CASTILLA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubén Arista couldn't finish the play. The supporters of IRIS FC CASTILLA booed when Azucar SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moreno Varga didn't get a good kick on the ball. The IRIS FC CASTILLA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Azucar SC were winning 0-2.

If Garrido Zumiza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Azucar SC's Garrido Zumiza got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Azucar SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When the final whistle sounded Azucar SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than IRIS FC CASTILLA.
