Cristian Taboada was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 8th minute, Sanchez Illanes made a precise shot to the right of Antonio Sandino. Aya huma FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 11 minutes into the match, Fuerza Amarilla S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Vigil Mathey came free, but Cristian Taboada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Urquijo scored 1-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristian Taboada, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Taboada didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Urquijo went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Cristian Taboada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bolívar Monta, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With his leg Antonio Sandino managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Fuerza Amarilla S.C.'s Victorio Amesquita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Humberto Reguer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Fuerza Amarilla S.C.'s Salomon Cofresi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vigil Mathey in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Taboada saved Fuerza Amarilla S.C. from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Fuerza Amarilla S.C.'s zone, Armando Urquijo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Taboada came out of the goal and Armando Urquijo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeremias Beteta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sanchez Illanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Sandino having to interfere. The Fuerza Amarilla S.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aya huma FC were winning 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vigil Mathey to strike the kick off in the second half. Victorio Amesquita struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Antonio Sandino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fuerza Amarilla S.C.. Humberto Reguer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Cristian Taboada made a huge save. Vigil Mathey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Taboada having to interfere. Vigil Mathey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Taboada having to make a save. Norberto Brochero struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Cristian Taboada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aya huma FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Armando Urquijo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aya huma FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Urquijo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Taboada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The long shot by Méndez Carreño in the 70th minute really tested Cristian Taboada's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Vigil Mathey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Armando Urquijo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aya huma FC's Antonio Sandino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Amesquita in the 80th minute of play. Armando Urquijo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Cristian Taboada made a huge save. Fuerza Amarilla S.C.'s Cristian Taboada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Brochero in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Gilmar Feliz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fuerza Amarilla S.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aya huma FC the free kick. After 83 played minutes Fuerza Amarilla S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gilmar Feliz. After a defensive mix-up in Fuerza Amarilla S.C.'s zone, Vigil Mathey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Taboada came out of the goal and Vigil Mathey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Fuerza Amarilla S.C.'s Cristian Taboada got control of the ball when Humberto Reguer tried to sneak it across the goal line.
