Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Flavio Arguiz got the match started through his kick off. Jácome Agosta was extremely unlucky when he, in the 10th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The nice shot from Uhin Barela in the 11thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Arboleda Miras had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After 13 minutes of play, Culasti SC's Sergio Arroniz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teo Inclan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teo Inclan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sanchez Najera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Flavio Arguiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Inclan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Culasti SC booed when Real Guayaquil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Real Guayaquil's zone, Flavio Arguiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Inclan came out of the goal and Flavio Arguiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, Real Guayaquil's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Arguiz came free, but Teo Inclan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jácome Agosta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arboleda Miras having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uhin Barela got free with Arboleda Miras in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience held their breath when Mora Armesto in the 41st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Teo Inclan's left hand side. In the 45th minute, Jácome Agosta fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Uhin Barela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arboleda Miras having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Uhin Barela made the kick off in the second half. Jácome Agosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Arboleda Miras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xavier Merecilla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arboleda Miras. Culasti SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Real Guayaquil's goalkeeper Teo Inclan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Arroniz. Ruperto Rey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arboleda Miras having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Real Guayaquil's Xepe Basterra got a free kick in the 69th minute. Teo Inclan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergio Arroniz in the 71st minute. Arboleda Miras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uhin Barela, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Sanchez Najera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uhin Barela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arboleda Miras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jácome Agosta went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 87 minutes of play, Real Guayaquil's Uhin Barela made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arboleda Miras was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jácome Agosta in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arboleda Miras saved Culasti SC from getting behind. Arboleda Miras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uhin Barela in the 92nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jácome Agosta in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arboleda Miras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Culasti SC's zone, Ruperto Rey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arboleda Miras came out of the goal and Ruperto Rey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Real Guayaquil had won after a very even match.
