Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luciano Farras took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Zeru Riguero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Pozito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeru Riguero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, CD Pozito's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Farras came free, but Jose Merayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th match minute, CD Pozito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Navas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gomez Caliz in the 12th minute of play forced CD Pozito's goalkeeper Jose Merayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luciano Farras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Macías Viña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas Nieto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. López Gener kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Gomez Caliz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Siete Pingas FC's zone, Macías Viña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Nieto came out of the goal and Macías Viña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, CD Pozito's goal looked a bit too open when Chiriboga Sobero came free, but Jose Merayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Gomez Caliz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gomez Caliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. López Gener kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Macías Viña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Nieto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Siete Pingas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zernin Pazo was slow to take the kick. During this time CD Pozito's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on CD Pozito's corner Zernin Pazo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lucas Nieto quite easily take care of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Macías Viña made the kick off in the second half. Jose Merayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from López Gener, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gomez Caliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in CD Pozito's zone, López Gener stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Merayo came out of the goal and López Gener tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Luciano Farras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Siete Pingas FC's Luciano Farras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jose Merayo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Luciano Farras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The attack was good, but when Luciano Farras in the 79th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Siete Pingas FC's Luciano Farras got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Luciano Farras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Merayo was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 84th minute, Vistruario Esterina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Merayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gomez Caliz in the 89th minute. Luciano Farras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Gomez Caliz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Siete Pingas FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
