Olmaliq FK's Caicedo Prabes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Barrientos in the 33rd minute of play. Buenaventura's Oscar Barrientos got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olmaliq FK were furious when Urti Beteta was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle.
