Mario Illan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Intriago Yanguas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Velasco Oliva managed to get in a good position for a shot. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Teligo FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Avila FC:s goal. The referee gave Avila FC a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dominguez Ayala made a kick off. Dominguez Ayala struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Intriago Yanguas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The referee ignored Teligo FC's protests and gave Telmo Bargues a yellow card for diving instead. 70 minutes into the game, one of Teligo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. De-la-Cruz Lana walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 76 minutes into the match, Dominguez Ayala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Intriago Yanguas.
