The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Xever Ruidiez made the kick off in the second half. Osvaldo Frenes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Omar Constante went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Osvaldo Frenes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 69 minutes into the match, AEK Guga Ayala's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Constante came free, but Osvaldo Frenes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Constante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Frenes having to interfere. A collision led to CD Huertopamba getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Xavon Naveda hit a great ball. CD Huertopamba walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
