In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind BaRcElOnA 1925's goalkeeper Caicedo Bipiana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Caicedo Bipiana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Vicente in the 8th minute of play. Caicedo Bipiana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Urria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Yader Munis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the game, one of Club Sport Patria:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave BaRcElOnA 1925 a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Borja Yerro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Sport Patria's Xavieon Oton. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Urria in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caicedo Bipiana saved BaRcElOnA 1925 from getting behind. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind BaRcElOnA 1925's goalkeeper Caicedo Bipiana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Fernando Urria came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Club Sport Patria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Urria couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, Club Sport Patria's goal looked a bit too open when Alonso Goxenola came free, but Xavieon Oton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xavieon Oton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Valdaliso, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute Edmundo Vicente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caicedo Bipiana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Leonel Vidrio fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BaRcElOnA 1925's protests and gave Leonel Vidrio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Club Sport Patria booed when BaRcElOnA 1925 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Vidrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Urria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Caicedo Bipiana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half BaRcElOnA 1925 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Valdaliso was the one to do the kick off. Edmundo Vicente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caicedo Bipiana having to interfere. Wellington Estany sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sánchez Porras came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Club Sport Patria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sánchez Porras couldn't finish the play. When Club Sport Patria's Anangonó Peinado in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 73rd minute Edmundo Vicente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caicedo Bipiana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anangonó Peinado struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Caicedo Bipiana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Sport Patria. 76 minutes into the match, Alonso Goxenola dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Xavieon Oton, 0-2. After 79 played minutes Club Sport Patria got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Vicente. If Fernando Urria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Anangonó Peinado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caicedo Bipiana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Urria took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caicedo Bipiana. Caicedo Bipiana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A collision led to Club Sport Patria getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Roris Cascallana hit a great ball. Xavieon Oton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Valdaliso in the 92nd minute of play. Edmundo Vicente hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Tomas Valdaliso was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. BaRcElOnA 1925's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
