A collision led to Liga de Loja getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Zunbeltz Onez hit a great ball. Pavas FC's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 8th minute of the game, when Mariano Rosales after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Liga de Loja's goal. Mariano Rosales was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. In the 9th minute, Xefe Asarta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th match minute, Liga de Loja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osorio Guereño to maneuver through the defense. The audience cheered when Mariano Rosales's long shot passed Velasco Iñigo's right side. It was 1-0, 12 minutes into the match. Velasco Iñigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Guixe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 21 minutes, Danny Romeu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pavas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danny Romeu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During the 23rd minute of the match Osorio Guereño completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Osorio Guereño a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Osorio Guereño hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Pavas FC's Mariano Rosales tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Abel Valencia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pavas FC booed when Liga de Loja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Vianes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Danny Romeu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, Liga de Loja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xefe Asarta to maneuver through the defense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abel Valencia to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Recasens in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Unai Santalla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Sandro Vianes fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liga de Loja's protests and gave Sandro Vianes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th match minute, Liga de Loja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Vianes to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Pavas FC's Mariano Rosales broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Velasco Iñigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Romeu in the 62nd minute of play. After 62 played minutes Liga de Loja got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Recasens. In the 65th minute Danny Romeu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Velasco Iñigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Valencia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Unai Santalla made a huge save. When Zunbeltz Onez fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liga de Loja's protests and gave Zunbeltz Onez a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Liga de Loja's Zunbeltz Onez got a free kick in the 75th minute. If Arnoldo Guixe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnoldo Guixe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Velasco Iñigo having to interfere. Arnoldo Guixe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Velasco Iñigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pavas FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
