Tomas Valdaliso's late challenge caught a Ruta 53's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Valdaliso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, BaRcElOnA 1925 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Valdaliso to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Leo Diana kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Caicedo Bipiana. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. BaRcElOnA 1925's Caicedo Bipiana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gian-Carlo Calzada in the 17th minute of play. If Leo Diana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Hidalgo Terres put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Caicedo Bipiana. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Alonso Goxenola got free with Yiyo Chavarri in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Caicedo Bipiana came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Ruta 53's Christian Avalo. But to his dismay, Christian Avalo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Hidalgo Terres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caicedo Bipiana having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Moisés Lorenzo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caicedo Bipiana was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Ruta 53 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
