Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Víctor Olmedilla got the match started through his kick off. When Gustavo Herquinigo fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boqueron's protests and gave Gustavo Herquinigo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Gustavo Herquinigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Castrejana was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Pascual Redeño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Campos Retes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Campos Retes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Redeño, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Campos Retes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Redeño in the 13th minute of the match. Campos Retes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Redeño in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Boqueron's Batista Londoño got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Boqueron's zone, Zarbonin Falceto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Rapela came out of the goal and Zarbonin Falceto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uhin Cuetos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Campos Retes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Boqueron's Uhin Cuetos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Campos Retes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pascual Redeño in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Campos Retes saved Kaizer Chiefs from getting behind. After 41 minutes, Paredes Lagunez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boqueron and the Kaizer Chiefs players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Boqueron's Paredes Lagunez got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When Uhin Cuetos, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 45 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Campos Retes was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Pascual Redeño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pascual Redeño was the one to do the kick off. Romulo Clavo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Kaizer Chiefs defense, Pascual Redeño kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Campos Retes. The Kaizer Chiefs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Campos Retes should have stopped the shot. Campos Retes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Redeño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Pascual Redeño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uhin Cuetos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Campos Retes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Boqueron booed when Kaizer Chiefs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zarbonin Falceto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Pascual Redeño left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boqueron fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 72nd minute, Pascual Redeño made a precise shot to the right of Campos Retes. Kaizer Chiefs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Paredes Lagunez hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Pascual Redeño's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Campos Retes was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. In the 78th minute Uhin Cuetos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Campos Retes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Campos Retes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pascual Redeño went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After 91 minutes, De-la-Cruz Reoyo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kaizer Chiefs and the Boqueron players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kaizer Chiefs getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. De-la-Cruz Reoyo hit a great ball. Campos Retes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batista Londoño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boqueron's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
